  Assistant Manager - SCM

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cost benefit Analysis: Comparison between local and global sourcing for required materials.
  • Make a report and ensure transparency in case of selection of a new supplier and also evaluation report of existing suppliers.
  • Prepare order wise cost report.
  • Prepare and forecasting report of purchase materials for upcoming order.
  • Open LC, ensure materials received in order from abroad, warehousing and keep record in ERP system for each items, smooth and timely delivery of materials to site as and when required.
  • Local purchase
  • Help the Planning department to know the minimum lead time of each material.
  • Continuously price checking with relate to current & available market price.
  • Should be able to sourcing and negotiate with potential suppliers for the required products with best quality, price and after sales service.
  • Collect sample and other necessary information for every new categories/ products.
  • Regular market survey to ensure right Trade Price and MRP (retail price)
  • Should be able to coordinate with the category manager.
  • Look after the entire supply chain process: such as procurement (Local & Foreign), Inventory control (main product & spares) and smooth distribution and logistics functions.
  • Ensure that all procured items are documented in accordance with the payment order, received voucher and challan.
  • Ensure correct maintenance of daily stock record and monitor Daily Delivery Orders for all products and spares.
  • Ensure Cost control through effective Inventory Management.
  • Tracking of consumption of all spares and consumable items regularly and thereof make timely analysis of projected requirements.
  • Any other task assigned by Management
  • Maintain full tasks of Inventory module of ERP system.

Educational Requirements

  • Graduation/Masters from Industrial & Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
  • MBA with Engineering will be added an advantage.
  • Having more experience will be considered for Qualification.

  • 5 to 6 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Water and wastewater solutions, Group of Companies.

Additional Requirements

  • Age 28 to 36 years
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • The incumbent must be willing to work hard with fitness to work long hours under pressure.
  • Capable to handle ERP, Microsoft Office,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills both in English and Bengali, analytical skills and good interpersonal skills.
