Quality Assurance Department in Synthetic Shoe Factory

Job Responsibilities

• Technical expertise in the production processes of various types & categories of footwear.
• Sound experience in trouble shooting production issues related to chemical composition, machine settings, statistical process controls, etc.,
• Managerial experience in the following functions:
• QA, Floor/Line Management, Production Control, Work Study, Quality Inspections.
• SOPs: Must be capable of designing, training, implementing and sustaining very rigorous processes and procedures in footwear production including in-coming materials, in-line production control, final inspection & AQL inspection plans to achieve defined quality levels.
• Capable of performing daily in-line QA and final Inspections as and when required.
• Must be providing technical support in sample and bulk production.
• Must be capable to manage out-sourced component and upper units and ensure QA systems are implemented and expected quality levels are achieved.
• Able to plan, organize and lead technical meetings with respective stake holders as & when required.
• Quality: Ensure that team works towards achieving production unit's Quality Key Performance Indicators (Quality KPI).
• Perform root cause analysis to arrive and implement permanent solution to the quality issues in order to continuously improve the product quality.
• Coach-Mentor: Be an effective coach-mentor in training his/her team members continuously and repetitively to achieve "FIRST TIME RIGHT" quality.
• Planning: staffing, appraisals, promotions, behavioral training, etc.,
• Application knowledge on Lean-Six Sigma and QMS practices.
• Responsible for maintaining good working relations with all fellow Team Members.
• Good spoken & written English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with leadership / managerial team.
• Knowledge of PC (windows, outlook & excel).

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Footwear Engineering
• Graduate in any discipline with minimum 5 Years of Experience in Synthetic Footwear Industry

• 3 to 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Age 22 to 35 years
• Candidate should have work experience in any compliance factory.
