Job Description:

• Safety Induction to Contractors’ workmen & attend Daily Tool Box Meeting.
• Site Safety by Following Construction Safety at the ground site.
• Execution of Job from Design stage on site with complying safety and quality.
• Quantifying contractors Job and assisting Project Manager.
• Involve in preparing Method Statements, THA’s and getting checked and signed off from appropriate Dept. Heads.
• Carry out Constructional Field Audits and evaluating and reporting - unsafe acts and unsafe behaviors.
• Monitor the supervision of work being undertaken by subordinates.
• Hands on work experience of electrical Switchgear, Control System, and Motor Connection etc.
• Hands on experience on Fire Detection & Protection System and Testing Procedure.
• Identifying Contractor job violations and reporting to Manager.
• Daily Progress report, daily work sheet report of repeat work asked by client.
• Client coordination for site visit and inspection.
• Raising Inspection form for work done and getting signed off and send to concern for invoicing tracker.
• Daily update of Project progress tracker.
• Have to foresee what the challenges of Open Fronts are and to act accordingly.
• Provide guidance to contract workmen to complete jobs with as per set schedule.  
• Report near misses, First Aid Cases to the management and carry out investigation of the incident.
• Identify and recommend workmen for Reward and Recognition.
• Ensure and see that all the disciplinary actions recommended under disciplinary matrix is complied with. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
• Prepare SLD, BOQ, TBA (Technical Bid Analysis), Commercial Bid Analysis (CBA). Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Briefing Occupational Safety, Health & Environment training of every new recruits of local and foreign contractors.
• Preparing Risk Assessment of Every Hazardous Activity.
• Work Permit System Audit & Monitoring.
• Ensure safe execution of heavy Electrical Cable Pulling, Switchgear Installation, Connection, Testing & Commissioning, LOTO Procedures.
• Ensure safe execution of fire protection piping, pump installation, installation of suppression system, loop check etc., and mechanical LOTO procedure.
• Installation and Commissioning skill of 500 KVA Diesel Generator.
• Installing, Checking and Calibrating all sensors affiliated with BMS & SCADA system designed for process metro Station.
• Candidate must need to have profound skill in Excel, Power Point Presentation, and Micro soft Word.
• Based on Experience, degree and type of skills recruiter will decide designation & assignment.
