Job Responsibilities:
- Maintaining project accounting activities;
- Responsible for coordinating the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annual budget forecasts for the project;
- Participates in budget development of the projects to ensure consistent and optimal project budget development;
- Sound Knowledge about project costing & analysis thereon, budget variance and understand trigger point to call out;
- Responsible for ensuring development and maintenance of monthly cash flow forecasting for the projects;
- Oversees maintenance and filing of project related contract files, vendor’s agreement, other legal documentation, and project summary details on the Company's intranet;
- Ensures all transactions are recorded in the accounting system, and assists the unit head as well as management in establishing project accounting setup functions within the accounting system;
- Develops and maintains a structured process to ensure project finance documentation and reports are adequately reviewed and approved by unit head and management, and all transactions are in compliance with internal policies and procedures and accounting principles;
- Ensures a high level of communication of financial project management information to Unit Head and Higher Management;
- Ensures all monthly project invoices are prepared and provided to the Accounts Receivable/Billing Department on a timely basis;
- Ensures all financial activities and requirements relating to project close-outs are carried out in a timely manner;
- Sound Knowledge about Tax deducted at source (TDS) and Value added Tax (VAT) deducted At Source (VDS);
- Sound Knowledge and experience on Bank Guarantee (BG)/Performance Guarantee (PG) & documentation requirement therefore;
- Sound Knowledge and experience on opening LC, Foreign TT, Bank Finance etc. & documentation requirement therefore;
- Experience on handling daily bank transactions, credit facilities, interest calculation, and supply of required documents for Bank;
- Provides information and data to unit head and resolves project accounting queries when required;
- Knowledge about preparation of individual Project Financial Statements (Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Financial Position.
Educational Requirements:
- Masters of Commerce (M.Com) in Accounting/MBA
- CA (CC) from reputed CA firm. CA (Certificate Level) from ICAB will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
The applicant should have experience in the following area:
- Must have project accounting experience at least 4-5 years;
- Finance & Accounts at least 4-5 years;
- Tally Experienced at least 2-3 years;
Additional Experience:
- Age 27 to 35 years;
- Computer literacy is mandatory; Good Knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint etc;
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills on email writing;
- Honest, Dedicated, Energetic, Smart and polite in manner with positive personality;
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Pro-active, independent and result oriented.
