Site Engineer

Duty Station: Fauzadhat, Chittagong.

Contract Duration: Up to 31 December 2025. There is possibility of further extension of the tenure subject to availability of funding and satisfactory performance.

A. Scope of Services:

Brief Summary

• Responsible for preventive maintenance, inspection, calibration and repair of oxygen plan equipment
• Responsible for ensuring the safe and proper operation of equipment by technicians and operators
  
• Working knowledge of how the various equipment functions both electronically and, the safety parameters, the safe and proper operations and the maintenance and repair equipment

Duties and responsibilities

1. Maintenance:
   
   • Development, update and maintenance of an inventory of the equipment
     
   • Installation of new or repair equipment
     
   • Calibration of equipment on routine schedule. Should maintain a history of calibrated equipment and a schedule of future calibrations
     
   • Inspection of equipment on routine schedule
     
   • Determine causes of abnormal pressure variances, and make corrective recommendations, such as installation of pipes to relieve overloading.
     
   • Maintaining Procurement process, inventory and stock of spare parts for mission critical equipme
2. Proper operation
   
   • Training and education
     
   • Instruct appropriate staff on the proper operation of PSA oxygen plant
     
   • Assist in training new staff on how to operate PSA oxygen plant
     
3. Safety
   
   • Determine the cause of any incident
     
   • Repair to prevent future problem
     
   • Participating on the hospital safety committee
     
4. Customer service
   
   • Details explanation of any query
     
   • Respond to maintenance request
     
   • Follow up with the hospital staffs including doctor, nurse or others

B. Payment:

Site Engineer will get BDT 60,000 (BD Taka-Sixty thousand)

C. Required Qualifications and Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering in electrical/mechanical from a UGC approved recognized university
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the electro medical equipment operation
