OFFICE ASSISTANT
Duty Station: National Malaria Elimination and ATDs Control Program Office, CDC, DGHS, Mohakhali.
Contract Duration: 10 Months (Up to 31 December 2025)

Reporting to: Line Director, CDC, DGHS
A. Scope of Services:
Under the guidance of Line Director, CDC, DGHS and Supervised by Deputy Program Manager, Malaria Elimination Program, Directorate General of Health Services, the Office Assistant will provide the following supports:
Administrative:
- Prepare and type different memos and correspondence letters;
- Provide support on.financial and budgetary issues;
- Provide support in arranging logistics, raise requisition for transport or procurement of materials and air travel;
- Process expenditure bills and vouchers for reimbursement;
- Maintain office files, furniture and electronic equipment’s of the project;
- Maintain efficient management of financial and logistical activities
- Maintain petty cash/revolving fund and required advance in order to ensure administrative functions are carried out effectively
Coordination:
- Coordinate with different stakeholders inside and outside the organization to maintain continuous collaboration;
- Maintain continuous liaison with the Program Operations Advisor for efficient management of projects
- Coordinate with outside vendors to purchase required materials for the project in order to ensure smooth operation of the activities in line with the project guidelines.
Training/Seminar/Workshop Management:
- Provide logistic support to organize training/seminars and workshops like contact with participants, resource persons, venue selection, arrange per-diem, food and audio-visual system in order to ensure smooth conduction of Training/ Seminar/Workshop.
Documentation:
- Keep records of different activities of the climate change project
- Preserve different official papers and office records in order in a secure and safe place;
- Prepare different types of logs for different activities
- Proficiency in using basic office software like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with email communication tools and internet browsing.
Others
- Willingness to handle various task, as and when required and as assigned by supervisor
B. Payment:
The Office Assistant will get BDT 88,103 per month (BD-Taka Eighty Eight Thousand One Hunderd Three)
C. Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum higher secondary school certificate
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
