E-Zone HRM Limited is now accepting applications from Bangladeshi Nationals for the following vacancies as per the ToR below:

EPIDEMIOLOGIST

A. Scope of Services:

Under the guidance (administrative and technical) of Director, IEDCR, H/she will coordinate the whole project activities assigned upon him/her. His/her activities are following:

1. Coordinate project activity and response at project area or throughout the country on behalf of IEDCR
2. Coordination role between government agencies, development partner, NGOs and private sector
3. Assist in monitoring, supervision and administrative activities of project
4. Arrangement of consultative meetings and workshops as required.
5. Record and maintenance of meeting minutes and financial expenditure of the project activities 
6. Prepare or revise the Strategy, Guideline, SOP and work plan according to the recommendations
7. Develop and implementation of EWARS dashboard
8. Define climate sensitive disease thresholds that could trigger early warnings for potential outbreaks within the EWARS framework
9. Arrangements for workforce training related to field  work
10. Coordination of training for field surveillance staffs
11. Coordination with IEDCR & sentinel sites laboratory staffs for laboratory test results
12. 80% of the time will be spent at field for regular field visits for coordination and other required purposes
13. Develop educational materials for communities on climate sensitive disease prevention
14. Monthly report writing
15. Brief core working group of the project about the progress of work
16. Take part in scientific writing
17. Assist in submitting report to Global Fund regarding progress of the project
18. Collaborate with other project staff (as appropriate) to prepare reports, develop materials and official communication to respond to information requests and otherwise fulfill project information sharing responsibilities.
19. Report preparation on activities, lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations for future action
20. To perform other duties or tasks assigned by Director IEDCR.

B. Payment:

The Epidemioligst will get BDT 1,61,000 per month (BD-Taka One Lakh Sixty One Thousand)

C. Qualification requirement:

MBBS with MPH (Epidemiology) with good academic background

D. Experience:

At least 5 years’ experience in research or public health sector
Age limit: <40 years (in case of experience it might be relaxed)
