Driver Assistant of TB vehicle
Duty Station: Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh
Contract Duration: 9 Months (possibility of extension). The contract might be extended upon the availability of funds, the necessity of the extension, and based on satisfactory performance and deliverables.

Contract Start Date: October 1, 2022
A. Objectives:
The overall objective of the programme is to support MOH&FW for strengthening the upazilla health complex capacity to manage TB diagnosis, treatment, and coordination on delivering quality TB services in Cox’s Bazar.
B. Job Description:
Under the overall guidance of the Head of Sub office WHE and direct supervision of the Public Health Officer, the incumbent will support the activities through carrying out the following duties
- Provide general assistance to the driver and medical technologist of the TB vehicle.
- Ensure the safety and security of both the team, vehicle, and the TB equipment.
- Load and unload baggage, parcels, documents, goods, or suppliers; may, on instruction of the supervisor.
- Deliver/collect documents, goods/supplies, parcels, and any other items, between the organization and identified locations/destinations.
- Record all presenting clients, assists in summarizing daily log/records of activities.
- Record information of clients on presumptive TB registers.
- Deliver test results to clients, enrolls clients for follow-up diagnosis.
- Serve as a logistics officer, issue tally cards.
- Undertake other duties (except driving) including photocopying, collating of documents, as required.
- Perform any other task (except driving) as assigned by the functional supervisor
C. Required Qualifications:
Education:
Required: Middle Level education (at Least 8th standard).
Desirable: Knowledge on record keeping on different documents.
Experience:
Essential: At least 1 year of experience as an assistant of driver.

Languages:
- Working knowledge of written and spoken English and local language (Bangla/Chittagongian).
D. Consultancy Costs:
Monthly salary: Each per Driver Assistant will get BDT 37,496 per month (consolidated).
Emergency Special Allowance: The incumbent will get BDT 17,600 per month.
Administrative Issues:
Driver Assistant will be responsible to pay all taxes as per government rules and regulations. E-Zone will make statutory deductions towards income tax as per government rules and regulations.
