Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and dynamic Senior Student Counselor (Australia) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in student counseling, specializing in Australian higher education. This role requires someone with a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, and a deep understanding of ethical counseling practices. The candidate will guide students and mentor junior counselors while contributing to the overall success of our Australian student recruitment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise students on study options in Australia, including university and course selection, entry requirements, and visa processes.
- Manage the entire student journey- from initial inquiry to application submission and visa assistance.
- Review and guide documentation including SOPs, financials, and other required materials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian university policies and DHA visa regulations.
- Mentor junior counselors and help train new team members.
- Coordinate with partner universities and participate in education events, webinars, and promotional activities.
- Use CRM and relevant tools to maintain records, generate reports, and track student outcomes.
- Meet student recruitment targets and uphold high client service standards.
Educational Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 4- 5 years of experience in student counseling, particularly for Australian higher education.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian university admissions, visa procedures, and GTE requirements.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and digital documentation tools.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
