Position: Marketing and Communications Specialist

We are an education company that delivers learning and assessment solutions from the University of Cambridge.

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing and Communication Specialist who will implement our strategies for marketing and promotion, engaging with our audience, and presenting our brand. They will also actively contribute to strategic planning with audience analyses and insights.

Key responsibilities:

  • Social Media and Event Management

    • Develop and implement a cohesive social media presence across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement and brand awareness.

    • Plan and manage F2F and virtual events, including webinars, live Q&A sessions, and product launches, to foster community engagement and strengthen brand recognition and loyalty.

    • Exploit input from academic experts to create and schedule regular, compelling content tailored to each platform, including posts, stories, and videos, while ensuring integrity and authenticity, alignment with event promotion, and effectiveness in terms of high-quality lead generation.

  • Content Creation and Material Management
    • Produce high-quality, authentic, and engaging content for social media, website, printed collateral, organic and targeted marketing campaigns, and event promotions.
    • Continuously review and update all print and digital communication materials in circulation, making recommendations for changes based on the business plan and market needs.
    • Plan and manage phasing-out of outdated materials and strategic roll-out of new marketing materials, ensuring a seamless transition and consistent brand messaging.
  • Design and Vendor Coordination
    • Utilise design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to create visually appealing graphics for social media, the website, marketing materials, and event promotions.
    • Coordinate with designers and other creative content producers, and printing vendors to ensure materials are produced to a high standard and meet brand guidelines.
    • Manage the production process, from concept to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and materials are within budget.
  • Website Maintenance and Analytics
    • Regularly update and maintain the company website, ensuring content is current, relevant, and user-friendly.
    • Conduct regular analysis of marketing and communication efforts, including event outcomes, to identify trends, measure performance, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and reporting:
    • Work closely with the colleagues in business development and service delivery to align on strategies, campaigns, content calendars, and event planning.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on social media performance, website analytics, event feedback, and overall marketing effectiveness to the management.
  • Continuous learning:
    • Stay updated on the latest trends in marketing, social media, design, and event management to continuously improve our strategies and approaches.
    • Participate in relevant workshops, courses, and conferences to enhance professional skills and bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure all marketing and communication activities are authentic and academically sound and comply with company policies, relevant laws, regulations, copyright, and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Recognised degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing or communications role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work, including event management experience.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Hubspot), and event management software.
  • Experience with design principles and software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and coordinating with external vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess material effectiveness, and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English, with a keen eye for detail and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
