Job Context: Department: Legal (Criminal & Civil law)

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing legal opinion and legal vetting of charge/legal documents. 
  • Drafting/Scrutinizing/Vetting of commercial deeds/documents including inter alia instruments, affidavits, deeds, agreements, contracts, MoU’s/indemnity bonds, bank guarantees, consortium and collaboration agreements as well as pleadings.
  • Handle all legal matters related to land acquisition, including documentation, compliance with regulatory requirements, liaison with relevant government bodies, and resolving disputes or claims.
  • Handling all litigations apart from regulatory ones, vetting the pleadings, monitoring the case status.
  • Doing the proper arrangement of withdrawing the case/suit after receiving the approval from the Management.
  • Reviewing all contacts or any other documentation which the company has committed itself.
  • Draft and manage legal documents as required.
  • Anticipating and managing the (legal) risks connected with or resulting from the strategy and operations.
  • Providing legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities.
  • Draft MoUs, LOIs, and agreements capturing requirements of the cross-functional team.
  • Maintaining good communication with the Law Chamber and other stakeholders and the Law Enforcement Agencies and liaison with various Govt. and Non Govt. Organizations.
  • Handle end-to-end contract management.
  • Undertake any other projects as assigned by the line manager or management.

  • LLB/LLM
  • Advocates will get preference.
