  • The Position requires a commitment to undertake official tours, amounting to approximately 30%

Responsibilities & Context

JOB ROLE:

The main role of a recruitment specialist is to identify, attract, and hire appropriate candidates for open positions. They ensure that the right person is matched to the right position in the organization using hiring strategies

1. Manpower Planning

  • Coordinate and assist line manager on a regular basis to analyze the current manpower as well as identify future hiring needs.
  • Assist line manager in industry or competitor mapping for talent sourcing.
  • Collect profiles for CV bank based on industry or competitor mapping.

2. Recruitment and selection

  • Conduct recruitment events, screen CVs as per approved manpower requisition, communicating with shortlisted candidates &conduct interview board.
  • Attract candidates by using different job portals and social media. Source potential talents from possible channels as per the requirements.
  • Prepare advertisement for the vacant position, and circulate it in different media (e.g. job portals and social media)
  • Prepare competency-based questionnaire, conduct aptitude test, interviews, support in assessment Center and other tools to bring out the best candidates.

3. Employee onboarding

  • Ensure proper process of deployment, joining and appointed related tasks, pre- and post-employment reference check and complete proper record keeping of all recruitment related documents and preserve for reporting.
  • Ensure proper on boarding of new employee.

4 .Employer Branding

  • Attend job campaigns, job fairs in targeted institutes to attract appropriate candidates.
  • Liaison with various universities, training institutes, headhunters, and online job portals and support employer branding related tasks.

5. Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare and preserve recruitment reports as required and manage proper documentation.
  • Prepare report on manpower planning periodically.
  • Ensure all new employees’ file are maintained.
