At the same time, Educo works with duty bearers, especially Parents and Local Government Institutions, to create an enabling environment for Children where they can influence the decisions that affect them.

Purpose Provide support by disseminating message and correspondence in instructed manner, organize and store materials and keep using records and provide.
Engagement Exchange information and documents in between office and specific external entities that contribute to smooth functioning of the office.
Delivery The Front Desk Executive will deliver information and documents in a guided manner. Receive guest of specific officials. Provide materials use records.

Receiving and Make Phone Calls and Conveying Massage (Internal & External).

  • Receive all incoming telephone calls and pass on to concern person/department, keep the messages of the personnel who are not in the office and convey the message to the personnel upon availability.
  • Made external phone calls according to the request of the concerned person/department immediately and update the situation to the requestors about delaying of connecting outgoing call.
  • Respond to vendor’s queries regarding cheques.
  • Maintain call register of official mobile phone & land phone.
  • Operate the FAX machine as per requirement.

Dispatch Correspondences 

  • Receive, register and dispatch all incoming letters/ bills/parcels to the concern person/departments.
  • Support to courier outgoing letters.

Photocopy & Keep Paper Use Record

  • Photocopy of different department and keep paper use record register.

04.

Ticket and Hotel Booking for Abroad Trip

  • Draft visitor’s invitation letter for NGOAB.
  • Communicate with travel agencies to arrange ticket for Educo staff (both domestic and international) as required.
  • Arrange hotel booking for expatriate staff as required.
  • Arrange dormitory /hotel booking for local staff.

Other Administrative Functions.

  • Ensure   cleanliness of   Visitors’ sitting place.
  • Operate Photocopier machine and keep record of paper.
  • Prepare weekly vehicle schedule and follow up Drivers duties.
  • Follow-up the daily scheduled work of the cleaner.
  • Prepare schedule and organize the meeting room according to the requirement of different department.
  • Update staff lunch record.
  • Update attendance register.
  • Follow up cleaner’s scheduled duties and gardener’s attendance.
  • Any tasks given by the Supervisor.

Essential Qualifications:

Education Minimum Bachelor’s degree from any discipline
Work Experience & Job Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in International Organization.
  • National / International NGO experience will add extra advantage.
  • Fluency in English speaking and commendable listing capacity
  • Good writing and translating capacity (both English and Bangla)
  • Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent typing capacity (both English and Bangla) 
  • Able to operate PABX, FAX, Photocopier machine etc.
  • Believe in Teamwork spirit

Salary:  Monthly BDT 26,000 to 30,000; Plus: 10% PF, Yearly 2 Bonuses (1 on Gross & 1 on Basic) and Gratuity.
