The Manager – Communication leads the development and implementation of effective communication strategies that enhance Educo’s visibility, strengthen its brand, and promote meaningful engagement with diverse audiences. This position ensures Educo’s work, values, and impact are showcased nationally and internationally, contributing to stronger stakeholder trust, wider influence, and strategic organizational positioning. This position works as the spokesperson & voice of Educo in Bangladesh.
- Coordination & communication among different Educo teams, line manager & SMT to plan & execute the communication strategy in line with the Educo global communication strategy.
- Smooth communication with relevant partners & donors to promote Educo’s brand & vigibility.
- Liaise with global-national and project-based communication teams, brand team, digital and social media team to promote the brand and activities of Educo.
- Ensure a healthy relationship with press and electronic medias for proactive media campaigns, communication and maintain media database.
- Appropriately communicate with external audiences to meet any queries about Educo & its mission & operation.
- Organize media events for the organization, in collaboration with the program team/s, of organizational priorities and work on related media coverage.
- Adapt to the global communication strategy and plan for the programs, projects, and events regarding Bangladesh.
- Prepare/collect/edit communication materials, i.e. case study, report, article, etc. and present in a lucrative way;
- Assess needs of programs, projects and departments about the capacity building related to communication, branding and other issues, develop relevant training guidelines and facilitate the training.
- Assist different teams to prepare donors report and maintain relation with different organization and alliances.
- Make Educo Bangladesh employees aware on communication and branding strategies within the organization and oblige thereby.
- Represent Educo to stakeholders, interested parties, and the public while developing and distributing materials that explains or conveys the organization’s policies or position on issues.
- Make Educo Bangladesh visible to the Govt., and its key stakeholders both at their program geographic areas and beyond.
- Manage & use digital media, including social, to disseminate Educo’s work, strategy, and key messages.

- Produce and publish different types of communication instruments and materials such as Information Education and Communication (IEC), Behavioral Change Communication (BCC) with relevant key messages appropriate for different stakeholders per requirement of the organization.

Liaison with External Stakeholders and Representing Educo in different Platforms |
- Maintain liaison with like-minded organizations, alliances, networks and Govt. and non-govt organizations to uphold Educo’s image.
- Represent Educo in different field/platform to increase Educo’s visibility and to enhance Educo’s experience in Advocacy.
- Oversee the sharing of Educo’s communication materials to the outside stakeholders for making them informed on Educo’s activities and field presence.

Master’s degree in communication, journalism, development studies, liberal arts, international development, political science or related field required; a degree from abroad on any of these subjects preferred.
Position requires both Bangla and English at advance level
| Experience and Requirements |
- Minimum of 08 (Eight) Years of relevant work experience, preferably in communication field
- Advance knowledge in MS word, MS Excel, Power point
- Experience in Video editing such as Adobe premiere pro, Website & social media management
- Experience in Graphics design and photo editing such as Adobe In-Design, Adobe illustration Adobe photoshop, light room and web editing skill
- Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, electronic); ability to communicate complex, technical information in a simple and articulate manner
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving capacity
- Ability to adapt the international strategy in the local context
- Understanding of Educo’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Principles
- Ability to follow procedures and work cooperatively with team members
- Broadly focused but with the capacity to pay attention to details
