S/he will be based in Satkhira with frequent field visits in the project areas

Purpose

The Project Officer – Sponsorship is responsible for implementing child sponsorship operations at the field level in line with Educo’s Sponsorship strategy and standards. This position will work as a voice of Educo Bangladesh in the field level.

Engagement

The Project Officer – Sponsorship maintains continuous engagement with children, families, schools and authorities, community groups/ representatives, partner NGOs, field level teams and local government bodies to ensure the effective implementation of sponsorship activities at the field level.

The Project Officer – Sponsorship will maintain liaison with the country office and respective supervisor.

Delivery
  • Ensures sponsorship activities are carried out with quality, accuracy with maintaining deadlines
  • Timely management of children gathering with the Educo’s general programs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of correspondence materials for maintaining good relation between children and Sponsors.
  • Monitoring reports, case stories, and feedback regularly that reflect field-level progress and sponsor impact.
  • Ensure child monitoring and tracking through individual child’s family/home visit periodically, while ensuring children participation in development programs and sponsorship activities at community level.
  • Ensure strict compliance with child safeguarding standards and the effective use of digital data systems (EduKids) for efficient management, tracking, and reporting.

  • Collect the student profile and ensure accurate data and photo within the deadlines
  • Entry Data in the corporate software within the deadlines
  • Track children and collect drop out status, migration and special incidence of children 
  • Take instant initiative for the absent students during activities
  • Take instant initiative for correspondence and collect response from children

Communication with other departments and partners

  • Collect best practices and success stories of the children to share with relevant department for enhancing visibility and sponsorship loyalty.
  • Covering up Educo’s general programs through reporting for loyalty building.
  • Ensure partners engagement for benefit tracking and involvement of the projects.

Reporting and compliance

  • Provide time to time repot to supervisor according to requirement.
  • Maintain documentation on Sponsorship audit issues
  • Ensure timely dispatching of communications materials.
  • Archive Children photos and information in the prescribed directory

Manage Community Volunteer

  • Assign community volunteer for collecting information and photos of children in Sponsorship activities in field level
  • Ensure quality of collected photos and information of children collected from field
  • Capacity building of the community volunteers to perform quality sponsorship activities.
  •  Assign community volunteer for monthly children tracking (Absence, migration, dropout, death etc.) in field level

Education

Postgraduate of Social Science and relevant subjects from reputed university.

Language

Position requires both Bangla and English at Intermediate level

Experience and Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in similar position in any national or international development organization preferable in child rights-based organization.
  • Experience to work on different database
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving capacity
  • Ability to adapt the international strategy in the local context
  • Understanding of Educo’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Principles

Salary and Benefits

Monthly Gross Salary:
   
BDT 60,076/- (Taka Sixty Thousand and Seventy-Six) only.
Other Benefits:
