
Position: Executive, Sales- Specialty Fats |
Job Responsibilities
- Trading:
- Responsible for trading all types of specialty fats including vegetable fats and ingredients used in bakery, chocolate, and ice-cream production through wholesale and B2B channels within the Bangladesh market.
- Customer Development:
- Proactively engage in new customer acquisition and foster the growth and retention of existing customers within the Bangladesh market through regular communication and relationship-building efforts.
- Data Management:
- Gather and maintain comprehensive import and sales data pertaining to specialty fats and related products within the Bangladesh market.
- Ensure accurate and timely sharing of data with top management for informed decision-making.
- Market Intelligence:
- Collect and analyze market intelligence data related to specialty fats industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences within the Bangladesh market.
- Share insights and recommendations with top management to support strategic planning and business development efforts specific to Bangladesh.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and submit daily reports as per management requirements, providing updates on sales activities, customer interactions, and market developments within the Bangladesh context
- Miscellaneous:
- Undertake any other activities and tasks as assigned by the concerned management to support the overall sales and business development objectives within the Bangladesh market.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Food engineering & technology or related field.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in selling/trading all kinds of specialty fats (Margarine, Shortening, Butter Oil Substitute, and other bakery/chocolate/ice-cream ingredients).
- Strong understanding of wholesale and B2B sales channels specific to Bangladesh.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with proficiency in Bengali and English languages.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic insights relevant to the Bangladesh market.
- Proficiency in data management and reporting with knowledge of local market dynamics.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the bakery, chocolate, and ice-cream industries in Bangladesh is desirable.
