Job Description
We are seeking some experienced and resourceful writer who understands the basics of academic writing e.g., articles (reports, essays, posters, presentations, proposals and dissertations,) on various subject areas including Business Administration, Law, CSE, Economics, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, and Medical. Here, at Econ, writers will be able to broaden their knowledge and world-view through accessing invaluable resources provided by us and writing on challenging yet interesting topics. Writers who possess top of mind awareness will be welcomed since we highly value intellectual thinking.One of the most notables is that our articles are to be marketed online as reading materials and reference work not for submission.
Required Skills and Experiences
- Writers should be able to write high quality academic articles for our clients in accordance with accurate grammar and high authenticity.
- Should possess the capability of managing and coordinating effective planning and scheduling of content deliverable and work in a timely and efficient manner to produce highest quality of articles.
- Excellent research and analysis skills, critical reading skills, and efficient and high attention to briefings of requirements are required.
- Candidates with precise, up to date academic knowledge, strong interest in the subject area backed up with excellent academic record, and excellent numeracy and logical mind will be given preference.
- Candidates should have the ability to work independently and efficiently, to communicate ideas and knowledge with clarity, to write in a creative, yet clear and coherent style, to adapt and improve the method of working so that any mistakes identified are not repeated.
- Candidates having attitude of working for long hours and willingness to go the extra mile with a positive ‘can do’ attitude will be ideal.
- Candidates should be familiar with the conventions of academic writing, especially common referencing styles.
- Candidates should have strong IT skills, efficient time management skills, ability to multitask, and aptitude to meet deadline.
- Candidates must have access to fast and reliable internet connection with a PC or Laptop.
Key Selection Criteria
- University Graduate/ Level students (Preferably, but not limited to, those with a degree in Business Administration, Law, CSE, Economics, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, and Medical).
- Candidates having profound knowledge of academic writing (essays, reports, dissertations, posters, and presentations).
- Experience in writing academic articles will be an added advantage.
- Candidates having thorough knowledge of Statistical Analysis, MS Excel, SPSS, EViews, and MATLAB are highly encouraged to apply.
- Impeccable grammar and writing skills to complete written assignments on tight deadlines.
- Candidates having capability of working for at least 20 hours per week will get added advantage.
- Copy/Paste attitude is highly discouraged.
- Do not apply if you are already managing a group of writers.
