Ethnic Community Development Organization (ECDO) is a nonprofit, non-government voluntary development organization working for the development of various indigenous communities in the Sylhet region, Bangladesh with the United Nations (UN) special consultative ECOSOC Status organization since 2016. Oxfam in Bangladesh is implementing the project Empowering Women Through Civil Society Actors (EWCSA) in Bangladesh, Co Funded by European Union to empower marginalized women working in informal and marginalized occupations in Bangladesh, to influence governance and development processes. We are pleased to announce that we have received a project from Oxfam Bangladesh aimed at developing leadership among tea labor women. To ensure the successful implementation of this project, we are seeking to recruit qualified and dedicated individuals for the following positions.
Position: Project Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Coordinator in planning and implementing project activities.
- Conduct community meetings and workshops to promote leadership among tea labor women.
- Collect and manage project data and documentation.
- Support the preparation of project reports and presentations.
- Maintain regular communication with project beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1/2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working with indigenous communities is preferred.
Salary: 20000taka monthly
