Position: Construction Site Engineer

Job Summary:

Deltaport Apparel, a subsidiary of Portwest LLC, is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Engineer to oversee the construction of our multi-story garment and footwear factory at Mirsharai EPZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Sc./BEng) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in industrial construction.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer in industrial projects.
  • Age: 30 to 35 years.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and technical documents.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for basic design review.
  • Competent in MS Office and project management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure they align with project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Provide technical guidance to contractors, subcontractors, and workers to ensure quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with approved designs, safety regulations, and structural requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project managers to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage on-site logistics, material storage, and equipment coordination.
  • Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly progress to senior management.
  • Address project delays or issues and propose corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on site activities, material usage, and challenges.
  • Obtain and manage permits and approvals as required.
