Job Summary:

The Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation (DYDF) is a Non-Government Organization dedicated to community development, youth engagement, and volunteerism, and we are seeking dynamic Ass. Manager (Program & Resource Mobilization) to drive positive change in the areas of socio-economic development and capacity building in Bangladesh through Youth development approach.

Ass. Manager (Program & Resource Mobilization) based in the Dhaka office (Mirpur 6, Dhaka) will report to the CEO. He/She is responsible for day-to-day program management, resource mobilization and partnership development activities, managing NGOAB and donor programmatic reporting, networking and monitoring plan wise activities.

The guideline and preserved in a safe place. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential for this position since you'll be working with internal & external teams and clients to deliver deliverables on time.

I. Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Regular donor hunting and partnership development initiative, networking
  • Quality full EOI and proposal submission to ensure funding.
  • Dealing with NGOAB, donor agencies, private agencies in English and Bangla
  • FD6, FC1, FD 1 and other relevant NGOAB process management, dealings.
  • Responsible for overall day to day program management and ensuring event quality
  • Skill of Conducting FGDs, Klls, IDIs, and Community Scorecard assessments to collect and analyze data.
  • Utilizing SPSS, STATA, NVIVO, MS Excel, and Kobo Toolbox for data analysis and management.
  • Supporting project documentation, stakeholder coordination, and field research.
  • Transcribing and translating field notes in both Bengali and English including presentation skill
  • Supporting all programs under DYDF in development of strategic planning, monthly/quarterly/yearly plan and overall management of programs.
  • Donor wise reporting, documentation, project design, donor supporting
  • Clear working knowledge on baseline/end line/midline report making and related process.
  • Clear understanding of development landscape and relate thematic interventions.
  • Closely work with youths, YLO's, partner CSO's, platforms, CSR institutions for planned activities.
  • Clear understanding of UN, COP processes, different embassy's working process and negotiation skill for resource mobilization.
  • Supporting M & E process and need base field visit, data management, reporting
  • Team management capacity along with need base support to team
  • Gender base issues, human rights approach, IGA and social business understanding is important
  • Others important duties assigned by the authority on need basis.
  • Branding knowledge and creative ideas, working skill with media is expected.
Adherence to and support DYDF Bangladesh's Safety and Security policy and systems
As part of this role, the job holder will be expected to adhere to and support DYDF Bangladesh's Safety and Security policy and gender policy etc as part of their day-to-day duties, and comply, at all times, to safety & security protocols and directives should be adhered to. Educational Requirements
  • Master's Degree preferably in Social Science, Development Studies, Anthropology, Development Economics, Environmental Science & Disaster Management.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years (experience with only evidence and relevance will also count) experiences with practicing knowledge
  • Clear understanding about resource mobilization activities and related write up, technical skills
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English and Bangla
Additional Requirements
  • Proven work experience in similar / related proven roles and resource mobilization experience is needed.
  • Strong IT skills and technological advancement.
  • Strong analytical skills in project design, development.
  • An ability to prepare log frames, grant chart, work plan, project cycle wise designs.
  • Partnership management skill and good negotiation, communication skill
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify & resolve project-related issues
  • Team building capacity, good communication skill and working ability in pressure required.
  • Commitment in delivering high-quality tasks for sustainable impact and promote innovation
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in flexible hours is a critical requirement for this role.

Compensation & contract duration

BDT 25,000 (Gross) with HR policy wise other facilities and two festival bonuses. (Joining from 1st March), first four months will be probation period BDT 20,000 (Gross) will be the salary in probation period. The primary work contract will be for one year and it can be extended with a new package. This is a position under core team and HQ based. Management will cover additional costs of approved field visits.
