Sewing Machines Service Engineer (Full-time)
Your tasks
- Execute service assignments anywhere in Bangladesh and perform independent fault analysis, identify root causes and eliminate the causes efficiently and professionally.
- Provide customer support on application questions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate orders
- Forecast spare parts planning to achieve maximum level of support to the customer by reducing breakdown time.
- Designing strategies, procedures and method to ensure on time service to the customers.
- Install and commission new machines and equipment at customer sites.
- Carry out maintenance and repair work at the customer's facility.
- Offer internal and external technical support with a focus on industrial sewing machines.
- Prepare and maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.
- Train customers and internal staff on machine operation and maintenance.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through technical consultation.
- Regularly report to the management.
- Serve as the technical contact person for our clients.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial mechanics or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sewing machine service including digital and automated sewing machines.
- Good technical knowledge about sewing machine operation, troubleshooting and repair/solution.
- Strong technical understanding and analytical thinking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, SAP or open and eager to learn.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel extensively in Bangladesh.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
