The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), one of the world’s leading NGOs, with a focus on responding to displacement, have been registered in Bangladesh since 2013. In 2017, in response to the Rohingya influx, DRC launched an integrated program of support to the government in site management, shelter/NFI and protection. In response to livelihoods needs of displaced populations, DRC implemented a livelihoods project titled “Improving the protective environment for self-reliance for affected populations.” The project targeted refugee and IDP host community members in Camps (Camp5, Camp8E) and Host communities in Ukhiya (Rajapalong and Palongkhali Union/sub district), Cox’s Bazar District, Bangladesh. The project timeline covers the period from January 2020 – December 2021. The project aimed to increase the resilience and greater access to livelihoods opportunities of people affected by protracted displacement Therefore, DRC is requesting experienced and established service providers/firms relevant in this field to submit their proposal as instructed in the ToR and RFQ.
