ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

We are currently looking for an ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN to be based in our plant in Fiji. This is a senior role & the applicant would be reporting to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Implement & Support TPM project.
• Modify machine/equipment to support Kaizen, SMED and other projects.
• Advise maintenance leader and technician concerning machine matter
• Attending to major plant breakdown with hands on.
• Provide training and coaching to workers.
• Maintainace and repair of electrical items.

Requirements:

• At least 3 – 5 years’ hands on experience in Electrical Field. Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Exposure to manufacturing environments.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Good fault finding and organizational skills.
• Tenacious in resolving plant problems and be able to plan ahead and undertake multiple projects/problems.
• Must also be able to plan own work and work unsupervised.
• Knowledge in TPM or Lean concept would be preferable
• Knowledge in Preventive Maintenance Planning
• Should have programming & trouble shooting knowledge in PLC, HMI & in
• AC/DC motor drives.
• Computer proficiency
