Job Description:

• Use images to diagnose, treat and manage a variety of medical conditions and diseases;
• Examine patient anatomy, pathology, clinical history and previous imaging;
• Select appropriate radiology techniques for patient diagnosis;
• Assess and support patients through various diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures;
• Undertake minimally invasive techniques to guide and direct a variety of interventional treatments throughout the body;
• Manage the health and safety of patients and the radiology team by minimizing radiation exposure;
• Write up imaging reports and report on cases to multidisciplinary team meetings;
• Carry out teaching of junior staff, auditing and research;

• To interpret and report on any X-ray films of patients;
• To keep such records and to supply such reports and other information as may be required by the time to time;
• To alternate with other Consultant Radiologists and to act for them as required during short-term absences including weekend and off-duty leave;
• To perform other related duties assigned by authority.

Requirements

Education:

• MBBS;
• Diploma in Radiology & Imaging ;
• FCPS/MD in Radiology & Imaging will add value.

Experience:

• Minimum 05 years’ experience in similar role in a Hospital/Diagnostics Center
• Experience in Ultra sound will be added value.
