Key Accountabilities
- Lead the recovery initiative of NPL portfolio in line with Bangladesh Bank and internal guidelines.
- Formulate and implement strategies for recovery, restructuring, rescheduling, and settlement of classified loans and advances.
- Drive the division's performance by achieving recovery KPIs, stress asset resolution timelines, and other operational metrics.
- Liaise with legal advisors, external recovery agencies, and relevant authorities for litigation, arbitration, and settlement processes.
- Present MIS, portfolio analysis, and recovery performance reports to senior management and the Board.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and regulatory requirements with Bangladesh Bank.
- Mentor and develop Special Asset Management Division (SAMD) team members to enhance recovery effectiveness and professional competence.
- Coordinate with other divisions/branches when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor Degree
- Minimum 15 years' experience in relevant area
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bangla and English
- Excellent analytical skills
