Damien Foundation (DF), a Belgian International NGO, involved in the control of Tuberculosis and Leprosy in close collaboration with the Government of Bangladesh in different districts, is currently looking to fill up the following positions:
Medical Technologist (Lab): 25 positions in Damien Foundation working areas.
Qualification: Diploma in medical technology (lab) from a recognized institution with minimum (01) one year’s experience in relevant field. Any third division/class in academic career will lead to ineligibility.
Age: Maximum 40 years.
Posting place: District/Upazila/Union Level health centers located inside Own (Damien Foundation) or government health facilities at Netrakona, Mymensingh, Kishoreganj, Tangail and Jamalpur.
Key responsibilities: Strengthen government health systems for integrated TB control and prevention services through collection of required samples for examination, maintain optimum standard in TB laboratory services including optimum utilization of GeneXpert/ Trunat following the SOP and guidelines, plan and prepare periodic/annual logistic requirements for the laboratory services, support other staff at laboratories whenever necessary, conduct outreach centers at the field level, take part in other TB control related activities like patient visit, active contact checking, storage and dispensing of drugs and logistics, maintain proper records, reports, registers etc. and engage in any other job as required by the project.
Salary & Benefits: Monthly gross salary around 22,000/= (Twenty-Two Thousand) Taka (Consolidated) and festival bonus as per DF Rules & Regulations.
