Damien Foundation (DF), a Belgian International NGO, involved in the control of Tuberculosis and Leprosy in close collaboration with the Government of Bangladesh in 9 districts (Netrakona, Mymensingh, Kishoreganj, Tangail, Jamalpur, Sherpur, Rajshahi, Naogaon and Chapai Nawabganj) of Bangladesh is currently hiring in the following positions:
Medical Officer: For Tangail TB and Leprosy Control Project
Qualification: MBBS degree and registered with BMDC (MPH preferable),
Experience: Minimum two (02) years’ experience in relevant field and/or area of patient and health programme management,
Age: Not exceeding 45 years,
Competency: Demonstrate knowledge and skills in diagnosis, treatment, and management of tuberculosis (TB) and Leprosy Patient. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and community members. Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with field staff. Sound knowledge in the health and social structures of Bangladesh.
Responsibilities: Clinical management of TB & Leprosy patients, supervision & monitoring of TB & Leprosy program with frequent field visits, provide technical support to clinic teams at Damien Foundation hospital, liaison with local health authorities to produce reports and manage complicated cases during field visits, help in planning, implementation management and reporting of the project activities etc.
Posting place: The post will be based on Tangail TB and Leprosy Control Project with extensive field visits
Salary and Benefits: As per DF salary policy.
