With 28 years of knowledge and experience on textile and apparel manufacturing DBL group set up an Integrated Textile and Garment Factory in the name, DBL Industries PLC in Ethiopia. DBL Industries PLC has 120 line vertically integrated textile and apparel manufacturing facility.

Head of Quality (Knit Garments) |
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead Quality Assurance by configuring world class Garment manufacturing and operating profit to the company;
- Manage and maintain the quality standard and rules and regulations for achieving the required quality of the garments;
- Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and initiate necessary measures;
- Make a bridge with Production-Quality for reducing gaps in understanding of both functions to co-ordinate with Production and Merchandising department;
- Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attribute;
- Update information on technical operations and cost parameters at every stage of the quality process and conduct audits and monitor first article and first piece inspection and report;
- Compile quality control reports, create statistical process control metrics, manage non-conformity material discrepancy reports, recommend continuous improvement activities;
- Implement quality training programs for key quality & manufacturing personnel and supply chain partners;
- Monthly performance status report preparation and submission to the Management;
Educational Requirements
- Masters/ Graduate in any discipline;
- Having B.Sc in Textile Engineering will get preference.
Experience Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in relevant field
- About 5 years proven track record in leading a managing a large Group of Industries

- Must have experience in handling renowned buyers like H&M, Walmart, George, Espirit, Puma, G-Star, Decathlon, Gymboree, Kik, Lidl, M & S, etc.;
- Excellent team player, independent, positive attitude and result oriented;
- Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and all other levels in the factory;
- Strong people management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Well conversant in MS-Office.
