With 28 years of knowledge and experience on textile and apparel manufacturing DBL group set up an Integrated Textile and Garment Factory in the name, DBL Industries PLC in Ethiopia. DBL Industries PLC has 120 line vertically integrated textile and apparel manufacturing facility.

Head of Industrial Engineering (Knit Garments) |
Key Responsibilities
- Overall control and smooth management of a very large Knit Composite Garments Complex;
- Develop strategic direction for process design initiatives;
- Concept design, justification, approval and implementation of strategic production planning and line balancing to get optimum productivity;
- Sound and solid planning and follow up total production flow by and balancing the production lines to ensure optimum capacity utilization;
- Identification of opportunities for process improvements resulting in service, cost and accuracy/quality;
- Evaluate and recommend improvements of technology, methods, flow path, material handling, training etc.;
- Develop and follow up overall production plan in line with timely shipment requirement of customers ensuring delivery of right quality;
- Take necessary steps to minimize wastage and loss in all operating areas;
- Monthly performance status report preparation and submission to the Management;
Educational Requirements
- M.Sc/ B.Sc in Industrial Engineering & Production from any reputed Public University;
- Having advanced degree is a leverage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in relevant field
- About 5 years proven track record in leading a managing a large Group of Industries
Additional Job Requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to create and lead a team-based environment;
- Experience in a highly automated fulfillment environment is preferred;
- Demonstrated abilities in process improvement of garments management;
- Data analysis skills (SQL experience preferred);
- Strong report presentation skill and interpersonal skill is a must;
- Excellent communication skill both written and speaking in English;
- Well conversant in MS-Office.
