Senior Position with DBL Group

We have industrial complexes equipped with numbers of Composite Knit Garment units, Fabrics and Yarn Dyeing Finishing and All Over Printing, Spinning, Ceramics, Telecommunication, DBL Pharmaceutical Ltd., DBL Lifestyles Ltd. etc. It has more than 35 thousand employees. We are seeking a talented and aspiring candidate for following position who would join our team for meaningful contribution to achieve the organizational goal.

Group Internal Audit Head

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall control and management of internal audit procedure for all concerns of the Group
  • Develop and establish strong internal control policy in various functional areas of the Group
  • Lead business unit wise audit teams to conduct internal audit as per guideline of Audit Committee / the Board
  • Perform risk and control assessment of audit subject. To engage auditee and to communicate objectives and scope of audit clearly, to solicit concerns raised by management (auditee) and to ensure audit engagement adequately covering key business risks.
  • Keep senior management/directors and auditee informed of all audit issues, concerns and recommendations during the audit. Lead audit team to ensure audit is conducted in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Prepare audit report in a precise and concise manner and to highlight significant / major issues of concerns / process improvement opportunities and recommendations that result in beneficial change.
  • Recommend audit subjects for annual business plan based on risk and controls assessment performed and strategic information gathered during the execution of audit engagements & discussion with management /directors.
  • Perform special investigation /assignment as suggested by senior management/directors or based on assessment by HIA.
  • Regular follow up of audit findings and recommendations for mitigation
  • Train and develop skills of team members for their career development
  • Conceive and promote company mission-vision oriented advance preparation to face negotiate any hurdles of future
  • Monthly performance status report preparation and submission to the Management

Educational Requirements

  • Masters / MBA from a reputed University
  • Should be qualified FCA
  • Professional degree in Internal Audit / Compliance will an added Advantage

Experience Requirements

At least 10-14 years' experience in related field with 2-3 years in similar position

Additional Job Requirements

  • Candidate with experience of 100% Export oriented textile and garments industries or public listed company will be preferred
  • Strong leadership capability
  • Must have adequate knowledge in IAS, IFRS and BFRS
  • Should have experience working in integrated ERP environments like SAP or Oracle
  • Must be able to work independently and capable for managing multiple audit teams
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills will be preferred
  • Strong people management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills both in oral and speaking in English
