CPD Recruiting Research Associate - International Trade and Finance, Global Development Agenda and Evaluation Techniques

The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) invites applications from promising young researchers who are keen to pursue an intellectually challenging career in development research. The candidate needs to have strong interest in sharpening analytical skills, and benefit from policy exposure, in a broad range of areas including macroeconomics, international trade and finance, global agendas for development and estimation and evaluation techniques. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate good drafting and analytical skills and sound understanding of economic theories and concepts. The applicant should be highly motivated and committed, and must be capable of displaying learning ability and a capacity to work effectively as a team player.

Candidates need to have a Post graduate/Masters degree in the disciplines of Economics from a reputed university. A minimum CGPA of 3.60 is required, which may be relaxed in case of candidates with foreign Master’s degree, publication(s) in reputed journals and relevant job experience.
