Research Fellow

The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) will recruit a Research Fellow to work on economic issues, particularly on areas such as Macroeconomics, Development Economics and International Economics. The position demands academic rigour, commitment, initiative and creativity. Mid-level professionals with essential higher education degrees in Economics are invited to apply. 

Candidates should at least have a Masters degree from a reputed university, research experience of minimum six (6) years and a minimum of two (2) publications in peer-reviewed journals or chapters in books or monographs brought out by a reputable publishing house. In case of candidates having a PhD degree, requirements may be relaxed.

The selected candidate will be entrusted with the specific responsibility of contributing to CPD’s ongoing research programmes. Candidates should have experiences in delivering research programmes and demonstrated capacity to undertake research work independently and supervise research work of others. The selected candidate will also be responsible for supervision and management of research studies and development of research proposals.  He/she will be adept at networking with other institutions, government agencies and professionals.    

The Research Fellow will be recruited initially for one (1) year and, based on performance, may be offered a permanent position at CPD. A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate based on the candidate’s qualifications, suitability and experience.
