Programme Associate (Research)
The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) invites applications from promising young researchers who are keen to pursue an intellectually challenging career in development research for the position of Programme Associate under the Research Division. Ideal candidates should have a good knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics, with a keen interest in areas like labour economics, environmental economics, financial economics, international economics, economic development, and macroeconomic policy. This is a unique opportunity for aspiring researchers to engage in intellectual exploration across various economic fields, contributing to impactful research at a leading civil society think tank and making a real difference in the world of policymaking. Requirements: The candidate would need to have a degree in Economics with a minimum CGPA of 3.60 from a reputed university. Skills related to the use of statistical analysis tools are highly desirable. The candidate should have excellent ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Experience in research and publication, either professionally, freelance or as part of academic coursework, is also highly desirable. A consolidated salary starting from Taka 35,000 per month will be offered to successful candidates, along with other admissible benefits. The actual compensation package will be based on the assessment of the candidate’s qualifications and suitability, including experience.
