RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

CPD invites applications from aspiring researchers eager to embark on a journey of intellectual exploration in economic and development research. The candidate for this position should possess comprehensive knowledge and expertise in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. A demonstrated interest in various economic realms, including labour economics, environmental economics, financial economics, international economics, economic development, and macroeconomic policy, is crucial.

Requirements: Applicants should possess a Master's degree in Economics and a track record of consistent academic excellence. Candidates with only a Bachelor’s degree in Economics but without a Master’s degree are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the Programme Associate (Research) position. A high level of proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) is mandatory. The ability to use software (Excel, Stata, R, Python, EViews, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) for statistical and econometric analysis is essential. Desirable qualifications include a history of academic publications and research experience, whether gained professionally, through freelance work, or as part of university coursework.

Successful candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary starting from Taka 61,600 per month for the position of Research Associate. The actual compensation package will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
