Programme Associate (PA)

The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) invites applications from promising young researchers who are keen to pursue an intellectually challenging career in development research for the position of Programme Associate under the Research Division. The ideal candidate will have a keen and demonstrated interest in issues related to macroeconomic policy, environmental economics, urban economics, labour economics, and financial economics. The applicant should be highly motivated and committed, and must be capable of displaying learning ability and a capacity to work effectively as a team player.

Requirements: The candidate would need to have a degree in Economics with a minimum CGPA of 3.60 from a reputed university, in addition to good life-long academic results. The candidate should have excellent ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Skills related to use of statistical analysis tools are highly desirable. Experience of getting writing or research published in any format, and experience of conducting research, either professionally, freelance, or as part of coursework at university are also highly desirable.

The Programme Associate will be recruited for a minimum of six months (renewable) and based on their performance, may be offered a permanent position at CPD. A consolidated salary starting from Taka 35,000 per month will be offered to successful candidates, along with other admissible benefits. The actual compensation package will be based on the assessment of the candidatebs qualifications and suitability, including experience.
