Resource Mobilisation Associate
The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a think-tank of global repute,
invites applications from promising professionals (for the position
of Resource Mobilisation Associate) who will work under the CPD's
Project Development, Resource Mobilisation and Learning (PRL)
unit.
Key functions and responsibilities
will include:

The selected candidate for the position of Resource Mobilisation
Associate will be responsible for assisting the CPD management
in the areas of project development and resource mobilisation.

Continuously explore funding opportunities, list them, and share
the information with the supervisor.

Participate in network building activities with potential
partners and funders to explore project and funding
opportunities for CPD.

Assist concerned team in preparing both solicited and
unsolicited funding proposals. This will involve writing project
proposals, preparing budget, and organising all supporting
documents and coordinating with the management in submission of
project proposals.

Coordinate with the management and Research, Dialogue and
Finance Divisions to ensure effective and timely submission of
reports to the donors and partners and dealing with them as
regards grant renewal proposals.

Support in developing an immediate and medium-term resource
mobilisation workplan in consultation with the management and
constantly follow-up the implementation of the plan.

Support in designing and writing materials for communications
with different prospective donors, agencies, private sector,
Philanthropies and Foundations.

Any other related tasks assigned by the management.
The
applicant should be highly motivated and committed and must be
capable of displaying learning ability and a capacity to work
effectively as a team player.
Required Qualification:
-
Postgraduate degree, preferably in social sciences, economics,
statistics, development studies with academic and professional
credibility
-
Experienced in the area of Research, Project
Development and Resource Mobilisation
related activities with an international development/research
based/ think tank organization will be an added advantage
-
Experience of similar type of work for a national/ international
organization/ think tank will be an added advantage
-
Fluency in English with good verbal and written skills
-
Excellent networking skills, negotiation, communication and
interpersonal skills
-
Computer literacy and ability to effectively use a variety of
software particularly Excel
-
Ability to prioritize workload and demonstrate
deliverables/outcomes
-
Initiative taker, self-motivated and with a commitment to work
in results-oriented manner.
A gross salary starting from Taka 55,000 per month will be offered
to the successful candidate, along with other admissible benefits.
Actual compensation package will be based on assessment of the
candidate's qualifications and suitability, including experience.
