Documentation and Communication Lead

The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) invites applications from promising candidates who will possess expertise in documentation and communication. The successful candidate will need to contribute to develop a documentation and publication plan for the committed deliverables of the organisationbs programmes and make principal contribution to the documentation and drafting outputs (in both English and Bangla) evolving from the public consultation events, prepare a multi-layered and multi-modal communication strategy along with an implementation plan (including engagement of media), as well as oversee the publications of the organisation's outputs including the curated media contributions.

Additional Skill Requirements

  • Understanding on overall public policy landscape and development nexus of Bangladesh and beyond.

  • Strong organizational, communication, advocacy and documentation skills.

  • Proven experience in reporting, publications and media relations

  • Good knowledge of the socio-political context.

  • Knowledge on project management and development procedures.

  • Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Excellent time-management, organizational and analytical skills.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing communication related documents

The candidate will have a Master Degree in Communications/ Journalism/ Development Studies or relevant subjects of social science from reputable university. Additionally, the candidate should have Minimum 5 (five) years work experience of which at least 3 (three) years should be in relevant position with development organisations.

A consolidate salary in the range of Taka 75,000-80,000 per month will be offered to the successful candidate, along with other admissible benefits. Actual compensation package will be based on candidate's qualifications, experience and suitability.
 

 The employment contract will be effective for 1 (one) year, which may be extended on the basis of the review of the performance and the requirement of the services for CPD.
