The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) invites applications from promising researchers who are keen to pursue an intellectually challenging career in research on clean energy and green growth. The applicant should possess sound qualitative and quantitative analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a good grasp of theoretical and conceptual issues in areas of renewable energy and economics, resource economics, energy economics, environmental economics and economics of climate change.

The candidate must have strong analytical abilities, ability to conduct big data analysis, knowledge and ability to run different analytical software, excellent drafting skills in English and high computer literacy. The applicant should be highly motivated and committed with regard to clean energy led development policy and must be capable of displaying learning ability and a capacity to work effectively as a team player.

Candidate needs to have a Postgraduate/Masters degree in Economics/Resource Economics/Energy Economics from a reputed university. A minimum CGPA of 3.60 is required. Additionally, candidates should have more than two years of relevant research experience at recognised institutions and publications in peer-reviewed journals. The requirements may be relaxed in case of candidates with foreign Master's degree and publication(s) in reputed journals.

The Senior Research Associate will be recruited initially for one (1) year and, based on performance, may be offered a permanent position at CPD. A consolidated salary in the range of Taka 55,000-75,000 per month will be offered to the successful candidate, along with other admissible benefits.
