Role Purpose
The position will be responsible for creating positive images of products, demonstrating value adding advantages of product to the customers and delivering high quality technical services to customers leading to increased product efficiency and reduced wastage.
Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities
  • Provide regular technical advisory services to customers
  • Illustrate the characteristics and merits of products and better combinations of fabrics, machines, needles and other equipment to the customers
  • Conduct work-study audits at the shop floor level
  • Assist Business Development team to develop new product or modify/upgrade existing product
  • Conduct/facilitate Technical Seminars/trainings for key accounts-Customers/buyers
  • Demonstrate settings, adjustments of sewing machines to overcome breakages, puckering and other sewing related problems in the production floor
  • Select the correct products & assist customer in making product selections, based on customer needs, product specification & applicable regulation.
  • Emphasize product features based on analysis of customers requirement & technical knowledge of product capabilities & limitations.
  • Handle post sales maintenance & upgrade activities & ensure that any problems are resolved within standard time allotted for the nature of complaint.

Education, Qualifications and Experience
• B.Sc. Engineering(Mechanical/IPE/Textile) from reputed public and private institute with 1-2 years’ experience preferably in readymade garments industry
• Should have the ability to work with a diverse groups of people
• Understand and recognize customer needs and possess the ability to build up long term value added partnership with customers
• Should be good at communication both in local language and English
• Should be a good team player and an excellent negotiator
• Excellent persuasion skill & a go-getter
