Job opportunity for leadership position

COAST Foundation (www.coastbd.net) is a value based independent, non-profit and Non-Government Organization (NGO), participating in survival strategies of coastal poor. It believes in integration of right based approach (including advocacy) in micro finance, striving for people centered sustainable development initiatives, maintaining a level of transparency, participation, accountability, gender sensitivity and respect to human rights and dignity principles in management. COAST has also received the special consultative status of UN Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). The organization is seeking some professionals for below positions for the project titled Promotion of Dry Fish Processing Industry through Innovation and Technology Intervention” funded by World Bank and PKSF.

Position : Project Manager
Academic Background  : Master degree in Fisheries/ Marine Science/ Agriculture/ Geography & Environment/ Environment science/ Urban & Rural Planning from any University
Working base : Cox’s Bazar Sadar, Cox’s Bazar.
Age : Maximum 40 years.

Experiences: Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Project Management and implementation. Priority will be given for experience in fisheries related and business development projects. The candidates should also have report writing and communication skills in English, computer literacy in English and Bangla with MS word, XL and PPT

Salary and benefits

BDT 60 thousand (consolidated) per month plus two festival allowances (each is 50% of total salary), mobile allowances etc. as per organizational policy. Yearly increment may be given upon satisfactory performance.
