Job Opportunity in Bhola and Barishal

COAST Foundation (www.coastbd.net) is a value based independent, non-profit and Non-Government Organization (NGO), participating in survival strategies of coastal poor. It believes in integration of right based approach (including advocacy) in micro finance, striving for people centered sustainable development initiatives, maintaining a level of transparency, participation, accountability, gender sensitivity and respect to human rights and dignity principles in management. COAST has also received the special consultative status of UN Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). The organization is seeking some professionals for below positions for the project titled “Sustainable Aquaculture by Market Promotion Approach for Nutrition (SAMPAN)” funded by WorldFish.

Position : Project Coordinator (2 positions)
Academic Background : Masters with honors in Fishery/ Marine Science from any Public University. Academic background can be relaxed in case of any candidates from the organization.
Base Office : Barishal and Bhola
Age : Maximum 40 years.

Experiences

Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in a leadership position of a development project related to aquaculture /nutrition in any NGOs. The candidate must have knowledge in nutrition and aquaculture and the skills of project management, preparing report, date line maintaining, team integrity, communication skills in English (listening, writing and speaking), good typing skill in English and Bangla, advance use of MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point.  

Salary and benefits

BDT 60 thousand (consolidated) per month plus two festival allowances (each is 50% of total salary), mobile allowances etc. as per organizational policy.
