Seafoods corporation is recruiting men and women for seasonal or permanent work at a fish factory in Alaska

Job Description

Seafood Processing:

  • Clean, debone, trim seafood fillets.
  • Clean and remove raw materials at the workplace.
  • Separate product on conveyor belt or table by size, colour, grade of raw material.
  • Transfer raw seafood product to other conveyor belts.
  • Place seafood products in containers or other containers.
  • Discard foreign objects and incomplete or defective raw material items.
  • Pack product in boxes, barrels, cans, or crates for storage or shipment.
  • Sort and label seafood products.
  • (For men) Operate a rockla to move live or packaged seafood from place to place.
  • Inspect their work area to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Work involves high humidity.

  • O Level

Additional Requirements

  • No work experience or education required.
  • Language skills are not required.
  • There are multilingual workers at the workplace, including your language.

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • The company pays all employment expenses: Health insurance, Job Offer, contract, accommodation, food and flight.
  • Work schedule: In two shifts from 12 to 16 hours. Lunch (1 hour) and several technical breaks of 15 min. each. Monday to Saturday.
  • Pay: $10.90 USD per hour for the first 8 hours of work. Each following hour, over the 8th hour is paid on an overtime basis, at $16.80 USD per hour. Salary depends on overtime worked and ranges from $3500 USD to $4500 USD per month.
