Job Description: Head of Training (AVP to VP)

We seek an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Training Division.
Position Overview:
The Head of Training will design and lead countrywide company’s training program, driving people development through strategic vision and strong insurance industry expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual training plans in alignment with company strategy and business objectives.
- Design and conduct training programs for Financial Associates (FA), Unit Managers (UM), Branch Managers (BM), and other executives at different levels.
- Identify training needs through performance analysis, field feedback, and business requirements.
- Lead the development of training materials, modules, and digital learning content tailored to insurance sales and service excellence.
- Build and manage a team of trainers and coordinators to ensure effective nationwide training delivery.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance improvement tracking.
- Collaborate with Sales, HR, and Operations departments to ensure training initiatives support productivity and compliance.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.
- Represent the Training Division in management meetings and prepare periodic reports for the Board and senior management.
Educational & Professional Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from reputed university
- Insurance-related professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 + years of experience in training and development in the life insurance industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of life insurance business, field operations, and sales dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to design competency-based training frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital learning tools.
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability.
