Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to scientific research, advancing scientific knowledge and promoting science education among diverse audiences. CHRF is registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau and was founded in 2007 by a multidisciplinary research group, we operate with the core mission to improve child health by facilitating appropriate policy decisions on treatment and prevention of infectious diseases through quality research and advocacy using available resources. We conduct research in four hospitals (Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute, Dr. MR Khan Shishu hospital, Chittagong Ma-O-Shishu Hospital, and Kumudini Women’s Medical College) and five microbiology laboratories around the country. We collaborate with different international organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Health Organization, Edinburgh University, Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, Centre for Disease Control, etc.
We invite applications for the position of “Finance Officer” to join our Finance Team.
Job location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Salary range: Negotiable (depending on the experience and/or qualifications of the candidate)
Benefits: Contributory provident fund and festival allowance (Eid/Puja/Christmas and Baishakhi)/ Two days weekend.
Key Responsibilities
- Review bill/vouchers and prepare debit/credit/journal vouchers by posting in the accounting software.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/half yearly/ yearly financial and budget variance report.
- Maintain & manage Cheque Issue Register, cash book and petty cash management
- Perform regular banking activities.
- Provide needful logistical and procurement support to program activities.
- Visit the project area, provide necessary support and assist in monitoring and supervision.
- Update stock register of project materials and office supplies.
- Maintain fixed asset register.
- Communicating with internal audit and external auditors during the project audits.
- Prepare a Monthly Project Utilization Report and provide it to the relevant Project teams.
- Liaison with DC office, NBR and other Govt. Offices
- Prepare FD-6, FD2, and others report as per NGOAB compliance.
- Any other project related activities that might be assigned by the management as when needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s in Accounting or Finance from any reputed university.
- Preferred Professional Certification: CA course completed.
- At least 2- 4 years of practical experience in the related field.
- Good command of writing skills both in Bangla and English.
- Excellent computer operating skills including MS Office packages and accounting software.
