Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide daily administrative support as required to the President's office, Legal Team and Planning Team.
  • Review and reply to general, routine external company communications received by the President's office, ensuring prompt, courteous action and good public relations Maintain an efficient electronic and hardcopy filing system within the President's office.
  • Act as secretary for the monthly Bangladesh Leadership Team and BPC Asset Management Team meetings, including developing the agendas, organizing per-read materials and maintaining the action registers. Work with Planning Team to organize and execute quarterly town hall presentations.
  • Arrange travel plans, itineraries, travel reservations, and hotel accommodations for the President, Legal and Planning trips, as well as those for executive visitors from abroad.
  • Maintain and ensure confidentiality of information by authorized personnel and ensure that the external communication files of all departments are updated and kept confidential
  • Pass on/ relay messages of the President during his absence in responding to urgent and essential internal and external communications.
  • Plan and organize meetings, conferences, other functions, and appointments on behalf of the President and/or visiting head office executives.
  • Make contacts as necessary with high-ranking government and embassy officials to arrange or confirm meetings for the President, and in doing so maintain good relationships with the secretaries for stakeholder organizations.
  • Screen and evaluate internal and external incoming documents and prioritize forthcoming events for the President to make decisions about or approve and communicate presidential instructions and distribute documents received by the President's office to the department heads that they concern.
  • Monitor and update the Policy and Procedures manuals for maintenance of the external communication files, ensure that adequate office supplies are on hand and the office equipment used by the President's office, Legal/Land and Planning teams is maintained in good working order.
Qualification, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree from any UGC recognized university
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience
  • Computer application skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Bangla
  • Good organizing, prioritizing and letter writing skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
