Call for Project Administration Specialists

Chemonics International Inc. – a global consulting and international development firm – seeks qualified and highly motivated project administration specialists for the anticipated USAID Esho Shikhi (“Come and Learn”) Activity in Bangladesh. This five-year activity aims to improve the learning outcomes of marginalized and difficult-to-reach Bangladeshi children and youth in the communities of Cox's Bazar.  Target beneficiaries may include children and/or youth in Government Primary Schools, secondary schools, non-governmental organization (NGO) schools, madrasahs, or out-of-school youth throughout the district. Result areas for the activity include 1) increasing learning opportunities; 2) improving quality of education in selected subjects; 3) increasing district and local level government capacity to plan, manage, and oversee quality education; and 4) increasing school community capacity to prepare for and respond to the impacts of natural disasters. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people and in improving learning outcomes in Bangladesh. 

We are looking for project administration specialists in the following areas:

  • Operations and human resource management
  • Finance, accounting and bookkeeping
  • Grants and subcontract management
  • Procurement


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in in accounting and/or project operations on international donor-funded projects
  • Clear understanding of USAID and US government procurement and financial management concepts and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required with demonstrated ability to work with diverse individuals and groups
  • Professional verbal and written proficiency in English is required
