Assistant Manager (Finance & Accounts)

Job context:
The incumbent Assistant Manager (Finance & Accounts) will serve in the Finance & Accounts Department of Head office. She/he should have ability to prepare quotations in his own capacity.

Job Description/Responsibility:

  • Maintain petty cash, cash book, bank book, bill register, general ledger & other registers related to finance & Accounts.
  • Maintain Company financial transaction, posting in ledger.
  • Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation
  • Prepare and timely submission VAT Return
  • Track bank deposits and reconcile client ledger with CRD
  • Various MIS Reports Preparation
  • To prepare Financial Statements (Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly).
  • Preparing and maintaining income statement, Equity statement and financial position.
  • Report all accounts, finance & operation related activities to the accounts department.
  • Any duties assigned by the seniors and the Management when and where needed.

Educational Requirements:

  • M.Com/MBS/MBA in Accounting/Finance with CA (CC).

Experience Requirements: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounts department of any insurance company.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Age at maximum 40 years.
  • The Assistant Manager should possess a strong personality, exposure & basic knowledge of insurance.
  • He should be innovative, creative and should have the ability to take challenges.
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skill in English.
  • Computer skill: Must have the basic knowledge of Computer, especially, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and other software packages.
  • Analytical Skill.
  • Team player.
