Job Title: Deputy Manager, Project and Partnerships

Objective & Responsibilities

The Deputy Manager, Project and Partnerships, is a leadership role within the Center for Enterprise and Society (CES), responsible for leading and executing a one-year-long State Department funded project. The incumbent will play a crucial role in establishing partnerships with 8 divisional universities, organizing workshops and talks, and establishing a student body as part of the project's objectives as well as creating documentation and communication materials for the project. The role requires strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team, drive results, and collaborate with international partners.

The project activities that Deputy Manager, Project and Partnerships will oversee will include: 

  • Lead and execute a State Department funded project aimed at fostering common ideals of
    diversity, tolerance, and pluralism and inclusivity in collaboration with 8 divisional universities.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including divisional universities, community organizations, offshore entities, and relevant government agencies.
  • Coordinate and organize workshops, talks, and seminars on topics related to educational diversity, cultural exchange, and inclusive practices.
  • Initiate and oversee the establishment of diversity clubs within the participating universities, promoting a culture of inclusivity and dialogue.
  • Prepare high-quality donor reports, showcasing project progress, outcomes, and impact in alignment with State Department requirements.
  • Lead a team of project coordinators, researchers, and administrative staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure project goals are met.
  • Collaborate with the Director, CES, to develop and implement project strategies, work plans, and budgets.
  • Travel abroad as required to establish and strengthen international partnerships, host seminars, and engage in collaborative activities.
  • Build and maintain effective communication channels with project partners, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with project objectives, guidelines, and budget constraints.
  • Maintain social media-based campaigns and publicity-oriented activities

Qualifications and Experiencet

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in the development sector, consulting agencies, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in project management, partnership building, and leading teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Compensation

  • BDT 70,000 per month
