Job Grade: Officer to Principal Officer
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all the CDBL related system and software operations & work-related activities.
- Maintain liaison with the clients and help the business team to acquire new clients.
- Conduct daily share settlement i.e. pay in and pay out of share in CDBL system.
- Opening and closing of BO account and Demat of share in CDBL.
- Pledging, transfer & transmission of share in VeDas.
- Check over purchase of securities and other trading related compliances as per regulations.
- Update clients’ buy/sell order books and daily securities reconciliation.
- Ensures timely collection of corporate announcements and subscription of IPO & right share.
- Collects the Confirmation Note (CN) from the panel brokers.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
Educational Requirements:
- Masters in relevant disciplines with no third division in academic records.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 (two) years of relevant experience in CDBL & Settlement of Stock Brokerage Firm/Merchant Bank.
- Candidates having no experience in the capital market related functions need not to apply.
Additional Requirements:
- Analytical mind-set and thorough knowledge of the capital market and related regulations of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission & DSE.
- Well conversant in KYC and Anti Money Laundering related rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, team building and people management skill.
