Community Bank is looking for a Chief Executive Officer for its proposed merchant banking subsidiary.

Position: Chief Executive Officer

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • To make major strategic decisions, manage overall operations and resources and become the public face of the company
  • To lead the implementation of the business strategies and policies as per guiding principles
  • To ensure profitability targets through revenue maximization
  • To drive a sustainable growth, monitor market dynamics and make investment decisions based on market insights even in the difficult times
  • To explore new business ideas, acquire sustainable customer base and corporate level service agreement
  • Set performance indicators to build the health of a sustainable organization
  • Maintain liaison with regulators and stakeholders of the industry
  • To make decisions in the best interest of the board of directors, employees and customers

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters in any discipline from reputed university from home or abroad
  • No third division in entire academic record

Professional Certification:

  • Professional with CFA, FCMA, FCA or MBA from top business school will get preference.

Experience Requirements:

At least 12 years of working experience in any leading Bank or Financial Institution out of which at least 5 years in a senior role (at least Deputy CEO) in Investment Bank/Merchant Bank

Competencies & skills:

  • Smart, team player paired with agile mind set and can-do attitude
  • Very strong analytical abilities and knowledge on Micro & Macro Economic Indicators
